Kwemo Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Kwemo is a music rating and discussion app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@kwemo.fm.

What we collect

Connecting Spotify or Apple Music

Connecting is entirely optional, and Kwemo works without it. If you do connect:

Spotify and Apple Music are trademarks of their respective owners. Kwemo is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by either company.

What other people can see

Kwemo is a social app, so some things are visible to other signed-in users by design: your display name, your Kwemo card, your ratings and rankings, your posts and comments, your concert badges, and your follower and following lists.

Your listening snapshot ("Right now") is shared with other users only while the Share my listening setting is on. Turn it off in your profile settings and the stored snapshot is deleted.

Your email address is never shown to other users.

What we do not do

Where your data lives

Kwemo runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting, and Cloud Messaging). Data is stored on Google's servers and protected by security rules that restrict each record to its owner.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual ratings, posts, and comments in the app. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email hello@kwemo.fm from your account's email address and we will remove it.

Children

Kwemo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app.
